Marco Island - largest of the '10,000 Islands' is located west of the Everglades in the Gulf of Mexico. It's position is North 25.9 and West 81.9 which puts it due west of Miami, Florida and north of Havanna, Cuba.

The view shown here is the Marco Island bridge connecting the island to the mainland and depicts the northern half of the island looking westward.

Marco Island - roughly four by six miles in size (6 by 8 kilometers) has beautiful white sand beaches, well kept homes and a number of excellent hotels . It is an ideal spot for a relaxing vacation and offers all water sports, fishing, quick access to nature parks (The Fakahatchee Strand Reserve, The Big Cypress Swamp Reserve and the Everglades National Park). For golfers there are approximately 30 different golf courses within 30 minutes driving time.
